Unfortuinately the mower had an early death due to catastrophic transaxle failure. It was missing an L bracket that attached the transaxle to the frame... The transaxle case shattered upon extreme braking and she's been down ever since. I've been on the hunt for the same transaxle, but unfortuinately have been unable to find one... sad

Still starts up and runs like a champ, jsut dosn't move under it's own power quite well lol

Might put the 12.5 single in the Toro and buy a magneto for the 18twin and put it back in there... Or mabye the 18 Twin in the toro badgrin

Pic of said transaxle carnage... I covered the holes where the bearings were exposed with electrical tape to try and keep the water out of there (the internals are still good)

Holy crap, a Wizard?  Good luck finding parts for that!  You might be able to find parts through 1-800-4myhome, but that company isn't even in business anymore!

It's basically an old craftsman... I'm trying to find a 6 speed transaxle (obviously). A variety of them would fit, but transaxles are hard to come by period. It sucks that I just swap the motor and not even an hour later I fuxxor the transaxle.

Well that 4myhome number is the number to Sears parts, so you probably stand about a 50/50 shot of finding the part you need by that route (trust me, I know  angry )

Still working! lol

I flipped the pulley on the front upside down, so now it's so over-geared that I have to shift it like a car. 1st, then off the gas & push clutch, then 2nd; so on and so fourth. Anything less with stall the engine.

I have this musterious transaxle leak though, I cannot seem to pinpoint the location of it though!!! lol

Very overgeared. So overgeared in fact that it kinda just put-puts in 5th gear. Probably at like 300RPM wide open. It's too mch for the little 12.5 single.

htf  do  you shift it while ur moving!!!  dont do it much  youll scatter it

Put it in 1st; let off the clutch; floor it. Let off the throttle, push in the clutch, put it in 2nd; floor it. Let off the throttle, push in the clutch, put it in 3rd; floor it. etc, etc, etc...
