This is very useful if you want to upgrade your base guages (85mph speedo and idiot lights) to the full guage cluster (115mph speedo, tach, volt/oil pressure, temp, etc...).
This is a very common and easy install if oyu have the patience and time (and a heated garage if your planning on doing this in the winter!)
Simply disconnect and remove your old cluster, you will see the wiring harness plug (obviously) and you need to chage the pins around a little bit. This is easily done with a small precision screwdriver. Arrange the pins from the base cluster option to the guage cluster options. Keep in mind that you need to replace your coolant tep switch with an actual sending unit for the guages or your new cluster will allways read it as 100. Also, if you have the model with the oil pressure gauge and not the voltmeter, you need to change your oil pressure switch with a sending unit also. When doing the wiring you will need to split the power wire or run a second one, you will also have to add a wire for you tach which has to be run from under the hood. This is done by tapping into the harness right next to the coil pack. It's the wire on the left side (looking at the coil pack [passenger side of car]). The tach wire comes from the ICM (which is under the coil packs). One connector has 5-wires, you will have to splice into the white wire next to the purple and run it to your cluster.
Tan/Blk - Bypass Wire for ECM
White - Tach signal for ECM
White - Tach signal for Instrument Cluster (TAP INTO HERE)
PPL/Wht - Reference signal for ECM
Black/Rd - Ground from ICM to ECM.Disconnect this wire from the coil pack and you will see two white wires.
Here is the pinout diagram:

Electrical Tape***Optional, depending on guage cluster
**Optional, depending on your method of splicing. Soldering is HIGHLY reccomended for this application!
Also, when you do this upgrade, you can get kickass reverse-glow guages from speedhut depending on if you have the voltmeter or oil pressure guage.
