Here are some pics. I want to fix it just because its a Euro 2DR, but I'm thinking it's more of a parts car. The gas tank looks like the car was dropped on a large rock because it's all pushed up into itself. He started it up and it sounded nasty. It has so much rod knock it's not even funny. I think it threw a rod through the oil pan when it was sitting there idling... Out of nowhere came this HUGE puddle of oil...

He said that he's looking to get $500 for it, but will go as low as $350... I'm kinda of biased though because my last parts Lumina that had a cracked block I got for $35. And my '92 I got for $300 in almost mint condition (yeah, they guy wanted $750 but I offered him $300 cash and he took it. I got a hell of a steal!)

Looks like a mighty el es jaun motorswap candidate omg did he want that much before the motor went to GM heaven or after. I'd offer 250 cash if the body is worth that much and see if he bites. If you wanna fix it up gas tanks are probably a dime a dozen in teh boneyards, same as the engine and trans. Then thers always option C : wont all your stuff on the 4 door fit on that one wink twitch

He wanted $350/$500 after the engine went. The engine was bad when he came up with the price, it just finally quit when we were looking it over. The problem is that I need to rent a dolly/trailer to tow it somewhere so I can strip or fix it. That's going to cost a pretty penny too.

Yeah, all the parts from my 4 door will fit on that, and all the parts from that will fit on my 4 door. I have two 4 doors, the one you see and a black one. The black one is currently sitting in my yard not running needs a crankshaft sensor, windshield and tranny (I have the tranny). I wanted to use this 2DR as parts for both of the cars (I can pull the needed parts out of the 2DR to get the '91 running and road worthy again). I mainly want the bucket seats, console, exhaust system & the trim under the tail lights for my '92 RS. I would use the windshield and a few engine parts for me '91. I'd keep the headlights, tail lights, transmission (It's always good to have a spare!), rims & tires, fenders, steering wheel column, and a few various other things for spare parts. The rest of the car would probably get crushed.

My '91 I want to eventually stuff a 454 with a huffer under the hood and make it AWD. It has NO rust whatsoever, so it would definitely be a good candidate.
