hey, got a new car. it's a '94 twin turbo supra. my husband got it as a project car. it runs great, but it's needs a lot of cosmetic work. the guy tried to sand paper it down to make it look like a sleeper, but it just wasn't working. my husbend is stoked about it. the guy put his money in the right places, be just...well... ran out. i'll take some pics of it and put on here as soon as my camera arrives in the mail. it doesn't look like anything, but as soon as my husband and i get done with it, it will be kick ass. can't wait. i'll keep yall posted on what we've done to it as time goes by.

i know i know. who doesn't? heehee. anyway, but like i said, it looks like a piece of shit when you first look at it, but when you get in it, you'll need tissue. it's going to be my husband's project car. he was so excited about getting it. he sold his last project car...which really wasn't that much of a project, and got the supra. this is how ghetto it is, the front bumper is being held on by zip ties, the air filter had a towel over it, and the inner cooler pipping was done with pipping for ac and heating. we cried when we saw how shitty it was, but the thing is, it runs pretty damn well.i can't wait to see what he's going to do with it.

it runs good. like i said, just needs a lot of cosmetic work and work done to the piping, mainly replacing it. the ac/heating piping isn't wroking us. heehee.

actually,the body of that one looks a hell a lot better than the one we have. take that supra, make the paint job match, but sand it down to the color underneath it, grey, and have no primer on it. remove the gas door...ummm add zip ties around the bumper, the weather stripping missing, and put dings in the tt. then you have our supra. and when you lift the hood, put slash wire to hold one side of the inner cooler on, a towel over the air filter and ac/heating, pipe as the piping for the inner cooler. then you have under the hood of our supra. one the inside, put rips in the seats, slash the spare tire...ummm....put a boost gauge in with a shift light...take out the radio, breake the windshield wipers....ummmm loosen half of the door panel on the passenger side and add lots of trash. that is our supra.
we both just shook our heads when we saw it. this car is in worse condition than we thought. at first we thoguht it would only take about six months of working on it, and that was in his spare time, but when we looked closer, uhhh yea, one to two years of work should have it good as new, nad again, remember that this is him working on it in his spare time. what fun.

he sold it. i come home friday and it's gone. i asked him where it was and he told me that one of his friends bought it for him because he would have to do a lot of work on it and it would cost a lot of money and he wanted to save as much as he can for the baby. now he's getting a crx and he's gonna make it only for race. so he has something and he wants the camaro. i told him to fuck off, but i might have to give it up anyway and get a mommy car sad i don't even want to think about it.

Legacy = tEh win!


Just make sure depending on what year it is to go over it really well. Try to get a 200X model with low milage. They fucking last forever (well over 300,000 miles) and are a blast to drive (AWD is fun as hell in the snow!). Just get a standard though, autos are tEh suck.

i found agrand prix that i want, but i don't think i can afford the payments. i know they'l be high because my credi is shitty. my only option is a private seller. i just have to find someone who will be willing to do a payment plan with me and at a reasonable price. that's going to be hard.

it'll have to be an auto, because i can't be shifting gears and trying to mess w/ the baby at the same time.

you're missing the whole point. we're not getting a Legacy to race or shit like that. i couldn't give a rat's ass how slow they are. as long as they are safe and reliable, that's all i give a fuck about. it's going to be a FAMILY car, not a race car.
