alright so i get to rant yet again but this time about my fucking POS ford foucs.. i have had this car for almost 3 years its an 03 and so far this car is shit!!! it all started with the ignition locking and needing to be replaced twice within about 6 months then i got into an accident with the fucker.. $6000 in repairs they shoulda just called it totalled... then my front passenger door breaks which was replaced with the accident and now you cant get in or out of that door you gotta dukes of hazard that bitch and now my dirver door is starting to do the same thing.. i have had to replace all the lights on it at least once... so yeah i recommend to everyone no ford focii cause they fucking suck

eh most Ford Foci suck. If they brought the European turbo Focus over then I'd be impressed. I do however have a video on my computer of a RWD V8 swap someone did to a Focus hatchback. It was soo sweet and sounded awsome. I could never picture a car like that with the sound that it had after the swap   |

Oh ya its mighty. 400 hp without any form of forced induction, cam tune, heads intake etc. from an "archaic" cam in block design, ya I'd say its mighty. Its one of the hottest motor swaps out there. FD RX7's, Miata's, S2000, All gm cars new and old, and even a wrx (he disabled the awd though). I think one of the best is the RX7 swap that car is a monster with just a stock LS1 and will still outhandle most cars  . I have friends who work at comp cams here in Memphis and they'll tell ya the LSx series motors are the hottest right now. |

I've read that actual thread before... I still think it defeats the purpose of haveing a WRX if it's only RWD. But he said it would be way too much work to make it AWD. |

Yep but its a "small" car with big motor. Good luck getting that thing to hook. Hot Rod's LS7 powered Solstace roadster on the other hand is a car guys dream. Out does an Enzo in every category (except maybe top speed but they never tried the top speed yet I think), and cost maybe 1/10th the price 1.0+ G on skidpad will throw your eyes out of your sockets!! The LS7 is the only replacement for my LS1 |

Wait, so you mean to tell me that if I want to soup up my focus to the v8, I'd have to spend all that money on a cradle to support the POS? Oh, and the thing they aren't telling you is that the "mighty" crate motor costs more than the car: $15k!
